U.S. Release Date: April 27, 2012

DIRECTOR:  NICHOLAS STOLLER

STARRING:  JASON SEGEL, EMILY BLUNT, CHRIS PRATT, ALISON BRIE

PROS

  • Tom and Violet meet, fall in love and take us on a wild relationship ride as they get into trouble and ultimately find their way back to each other with the help of parents, sis and brother in- law, colleagues and friends  and ultimately without  fairy tale expectations of perfection.
  • Surprisingly intelligent, laugh out loud funny and emotionally insightful.
  • You’ll come out of the theater feeling closer, discussing the different couples and feeling happy and hopeful for the long term committed relationship.  Elmo and Cookie Monster agree.

CONS

  • It is a little long…124 minutes!  We know you are on top but edit yourselves so you will be able to stay there!

FINAL VERDICT:  Highly Recommended.  An insightful and true to life romantic comedy that will keep you laughing while restoring faith in the long term committed relationship.

QUICK QUOTE!

Suzie (to Violet): “This is supposed to be exciting. This is your wedding — you only get a few of these.”

DAVE SAID, “Wow, that was surprisingly good.”

Complementary Food: With so much to choose from, fresh seafood to fusion entrees to eggs benedict, we must ultimately choose the tacos and donuts for desert.
