U.S. Release Date: April 13, 2012
DIRECTOR: THE FARELLY BROTHERS
- Executed in three short parts, starting with the delivery of the 3 babies to the Sisters of Mercy Orphanage, this is a GREAT remake and very FUNNY. The clever dialogue is wonderful. Lots of puns.
- The shtick, the sound effects, the music, the casting, is all brought together by a great script with good messages.
- Timing is everything, and they got it down. How did they do it? I’d love to see outtakes and rehearsals…I can imagine how funny Curly looked practicing his snaps….just great.
- If you are not a fan of slapstick…shut up and go see this movie anyway…especially if you like to laugh. A big surprise.
FINAL VERDICT: The Farrelly Brothers are back ! Fun and funny, the story has heart and a moral message, a must not miss for any age. Better than the original…Young and old will love it. Don’t miss the warning message at the end of the movie…
Moe: “Mind your P’s and Q’s!”
Curly: “Don’t forget the I’s!”
Moe: “Certainly!” (pokes him in his eyes)
DAVE SAID, “That was great!”
